NSE Trading Hours on Regular Days
On working days, the NSE operates during the following hours:

Pre-open session: 9:00 AM to 9:15 AM

Normal trading session: 9:15 AM to 3:30 PM
The market remains closed on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) and designated holidays listed by the exchange each year.
Special Trading Sessions – Muhurat Trading
NSE also conducts Muhurat Trading during Diwali — a symbolic and auspicious trading window observed in the evening. This session is announced separately and is popular among traditional investors starting their new financial year.
